SAY strengthens its marketing team

In spring 2019, SAY GmbH gained an experienced partner for PR and marketing: Marcus Krall and his agency, Krall Media GmbH, provide support in public relations work for the shipyard in Germany’s Allgäu region. Krall looks back on nearly 25 years of experience in magazine journalism, 10 years of experience as editor-in-chief of the leading Germansuperyacht magazine ‘Boote Exclusiv’, and has most recently organised and strengthened PR activities for Swiss superyacht broker Ocean Independence. SAY CEO Karl Wagner says: “We are excited to have such an experienced specialist on board.”

SAY GmbH is looking for a boat builder or technician for the production of carbon-fibre hulls and decks, assembly of prefabricated components, installation of parts and general shipyard duties. Important qualifications are training in skilled labour, a high level of commitment and initiative in meeting the highest quality standards. Applicants interested in working with SAY GmbH should be independent, a team player, and have a goal-focused approach to work. SAY delivers the first production model of the 29E

After SAY GmbH broke a world record in speed with the prototype of the SAY29 E last year (series boats, 8-10 m), the first SAY29 E series production model has now been delivered. Swiss SAY dealer Yachtwerft Portier AG from Meilen on Lake Zurich acquired the 8.85-metre-long, 2.78-metre-wide and 48-knot-fast superboat in April. It is available immediately to interested buyers. German Innovation Award 2019

After a nomination at the European Powerboat Award at the beginning of the year, SAY GmbH has now won two prizes at the German Innovation Award for its electric boat SAY 29E Runabout Carbon. In the categories "Excellence in Business to Consumer - E-Mobility" and "Excellence in Business to Consumer - Travel, Sports and Outdoor Goods", the company placed its revolutionary electric boat ahead of all other entries. SAY CEO Karl Wagner comments: "We put a lot of energy, effort and capital into the development of the SAY 29E. This is a wonderful award for the whole team".   The German Innovation Award recognizes cross-industry products and solutions that differ from previous solutions primarily in terms of user centricity and added value. It makes great achievements visible to a broad audience and ensures successful positioning in the market. Founded by the German Bundestag and donated by German industry, the German Design Council is committed to the competitiveness of companies.
